With less time but with greater creativity a bride can make her own wedding favors for her guest even on a small budget. Many affordable software programs are available that will allow the bride to make her own elegant or imaginative printable wedding favors rather than going to a printer and breaking the bank.

Before starting the process of creating printable wedding favors, the bride should visit a computer store and find a software package that will do most anything she might dream up as she prepares for her wedding. These programs are reasonably inexpensive and very user friendly.

Even a bride who is not particularly computer savvy need not be afraid to experiment with the software. If the bride still isn’t sure which software program to buy, she should ask for help from a store clerk. After the bride explains her expectations, the clerk can easily lead her to the best selection.

After installing the software, the bride should begin to experiment with the many different kinds of printable wedding favors she can create. With her wedding theme in mind, she can usually find a myriad of graphics to add the special touches to her work.

She might even use her own digital pictures for the personal touch. Most wedding guests will be touched that the bride went to so much trouble to give them such a lovely printable wedding favor.

One idea that the creative bride could create is a scroll that she can wrap a ribbon around for the guests to open at their leisure. In order to make a pretty scroll, the bride should choose simple, maybe embossed, stationery. Wheat or linen stationery make wonderful printable wedding favors. The neutral colors will blend perfectly with most any wedding colors. The splash of color would be provided by the ribbon and should be one of the wedding colors.

The next and probably the most difficult part of the scroll making process is deciding what to write on the scroll. A bride who is so inclined might write a poem about her special day and how important all of her family and friends are to the happy couple. This very personal poem will probably bring tears to the eyes of many of the wedding guests.

If a bride doesn’t want to write a poem herself, she can easily find a fitting one on the Internet. A couple of searches will turn up many poems that she can use. After the copy is completed, the bride should choose a print font that will be both elegant and readable. Then it’s copy and paste time. Add a graphic and a border and the bride is ready to print.

Printable wedding favors add a special detail that will make a bride’s wedding day both memorable and personal. With a little creativity and time, any bride can make printable wedding favors for her guests.
